SOS!

Here is the link to the Red Cross donation page.
Go there now and give them whatever you can to help the victims of Katrina. We, the average citizen, need to step up and help because of the poor planning of the federal goverment.

As a special note, i would like to thank members of the international community who have come to aide the citizens of America who have been so devastated by this horrible event. Thank you. Which is more that you are likely to get from the bush administration. Wish i could say that i was a big enough person not to bring politics into the situation, but so far as natural disaters go, the outcome can be blamed on a single group of people, and in particular, one man. One man whose myopic view of how to run a country has lead to a devasting aftermath worse than the catastrophic event that created it.

One final note before i go. Remember that this is not the first time this has happened. On August 6th, 2001, while on rather long vacation in Crawford Texas, bush revieved a memo stating that osama bin laden planned to attack with in the united states in a method consistant with a plane hijacking. He did nothing then, except plan for tax cuts for the rich and the cost of the poor, and an energy plan that included the invasion of Iraq to secure 'our' oil. I submit that everyone who is suffering from the effects of this hurricane are in fact casualties of the war in Iraq.

Thats enough of that. Please give what you can to make up for the shortfall caused by the pure greed that is running this country. While we are not living in the great country that we were living in 5 years ago, our citizens should not live in third world conditions and suffer as they are doing now.

Have a good weekend. I'm off to fill up my car with gas that now costs $3.70 a fucking gallon. Thanks george.

PS: Good job to Ron Brynaert over at Why are we back in Iraq for going after the American Spectator for their needless comments of blaming the affected for the problems caused by the hurricane. You are a credit to bloggers every where, i mean that.
